Who this policy covers
This policy describes ChordFold’s audio analysis and video audio removal tools, and the pages that support them.

Audio and video you choose
Files you select are processed locally in your browser. These tools do not upload your media files, chord results or processed videos to our servers. Selecting a file gives the browser access to that file for the requested operation; it does not give us access to other files on your device.
Selected media and results are held temporarily for the active session. Refreshing or closing the page clears the tool’s temporary state. Downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them. Browser caches may retain website assets, such as the audio analysis model and sample recording.
Website requests and technical information
Your browser requests pages, scripts, images, sample media and model files from the website. Hosting and network providers necessarily receive information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser headers and request time to deliver and protect the service. Infrastructure logging and retention depend on the deployed hosting configuration; local media processing does not make ordinary website visits anonymous.
Cookies, analytics and advertising today
The production website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and use of the site. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect page URLs, interactions, browser and device information, and technical connection information. Our tools continue to process selected media locally; we do not intentionally send your media contents or chord results to Google Analytics. Development builds do not load the analytics tag.

If Google AdSense is enabled
Advertising is not currently enabled in this version. If we enable Google AdSense, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to serve, measure and personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on previous visits.

Before applicable advertising is activated, the site will provide the necessary consent choices. Where consent is required, optional advertising storage and personalization must wait for your choice. A consent message, when enabled, will explain how to revisit or withdraw that choice. Browser cookie settings provide additional controls.
Messages you send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your request, with access through the relevant email provider. Please avoid sending private recordings or sensitive personal information. Relevant correspondence may be retained while a request remains open or where needed for legal obligations.
Your choices
You can stop processing by canceling an operation or closing the page. Keep or delete downloaded results using your device’s file controls. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to processing, or complain to your local data protection authority. Use the contact details above for requests; we cannot retrieve media that remained only on your device.
